Born out of the desire to provide smaller, structured groups for areas of specialization, SIGs fulfill particular needs for ONS’s diverse membership. When Pamela Kennedy, RN, BSN, OCN®, coordinator of the Clinical Trials Nurse (CTN) SIG, first attended that SIG’s annual meeting at an ONS Congress, “Immediately I knew this would be exactly what I needed to foster growth and promote excellence within my practice.” For Mei R. First Annual CHEAR Soundsation a Rousing Success The first annual CHEAR Soundsation event held February 27th at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. Proceeds supported the Coalition for Hearing, Education and Research (CHEAR), a non-profit organization committed to better hearing and balance through medical treatment, education, research and advocacy.
